Day 6— Teaching Strategies – Technology Part1

Reflection Question

How do you think technology should be used when you teach?

Technology should be used as more as possible so that students can be motivated to learn and can be involved more easily. We are living in a technology era, and students should be updated to today’s needs and requirement to avoid being out-dated after they graduate. Besides being taught in technology, students also need to show their learning in technology. It’s a good idea to ask students to build their own websites and submit work through Internet, or choose a project they like and research by themselves and present the results in multi-media.

Interesting Experience

What would you do with your iPod?

As what is mentioned in the video, the students own the learning; we have to meet their needs to make them survive. For example, we need to bring what we are using in technology into classroom for nowadays students. I would like to encourage students to explore iPod and try to use Google map or read a book or search materials for their own projects.
